The Hub, formerly Aultbea Church of Scotland, is progressing its plans to modernise into a modern community space.
Update December 2025
With funding now in place for the energy improvement plans, the Hub will be installing new heating, solar panels, double glazed windows and building insulation in 2026.
This will significantly reduce energy consumption, improve comfort levels and allow the Hub to operate even under power outages for a period of time.
Our goal is to create a welcoming venue capable of hosting a variety of events, groups, and services.
This strategy will enable the HUB to become part of a larger multi-facility network, working in conjunction with different groups to provide a wide-ranging and unified selection of community amenities.
Currently, the Community Hub acts as the gathering place for the local Men's Shed and the Post Office Sorting Office in the Aultbea area.
It also continues to be a space for worship, including church services, weddings, and funerals.
