Aultbea Community Hub is pleased to announce that it has secured funding to move closer to its Net Zero goals. Thanks to support from CARES, HIE, and SSEN, the Hub will soon install a state-of-the-art Air to Air Heating System, a twin solar panel array with battery storage, new windows, and additional insulation upgrades.
This major investment of over £75,000 is part of a long-term plan to develop the Hub into a warm and sustainable space for everyone well into the future.
The renovations are scheduled for the first quarter of 2026, with efforts to minimize disruption to ongoing events.

Additionally, the Hub has received funding from the Highland Council Discretionary Fund to purchase a new dishwasher, replacing the old one which has reached the end of its service. The Hub thanks Highland Council for the grant and hopes the new commercial dishwasher will be installed in time for the 2026 reopening.
